Erin Cuthbert says Chelsea might "still win absolutely nothing" and there has to be "less talk, more action" if they want to achieve the quadruple.

The Women's Super League champions take on title rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Friday.

They will meet again in the League Cup final, while Chelsea are also chasing Champions League and FA Cup success.

"The quadruple... wow, that's mad," said midfielder Cuthbert, who has won five WSL titles with Chelsea.

"But [manager] Emma Hayes put all the trophies up before and also a blank screen - we either win nothing or we go on and be great.

"It's all well and good talking about a potential quadruple but we're at the point where we can still win absolutely nothing. I think the main message is less talk, more action.

"We have to do our talking on the pitch and make sure that when the big moments come, we're ready."

Chelsea go into Friday's showdown against Arsenal three points above their London rivals, while they also lead second-placed Manchester City on goal difference.

The Blues are aiming to win a fifth successive league title in what will be Hayes' final season at the club before she joins the United States national team as manager in the summer.

"We really want to do it for Emma. I certainly do," added Cuthbert.

"She's given a lot to me as a person and as an individual. I think she'll love nothing more than leaving a legacy and a culture that's built on winning, and it's up to us to do it.

"These are the games I look forward to. The business end of the season is my favourite. It's the games that really have a lot of magnitude and mean something. Everything is worth three points.

"Arsenal and Manchester City are two top teams and they are going to keep knocking on the door so it's up to us to keep pulling out results."

Chelsea go into the match off the back of three successive wins in all competitions in response to a 1-0 defeat by City in the WSL.

They have been hit by serious injuries this campaign with forwards Sam Kerr and Mia Fishel ruled out with anterior cruciate ligament injuries, adding to the absence of captain Millie Bright with a knee issue.

However, Cuthbert believes Chelsea carry momentum into Friday's game despite an increasing fixture schedule, with a depleted squad.

"One slip-up could ultimately cost us a title. We need to keep winning," she added.

"Everyone says, 'Oh, maybe they won't be as rested or they'll be tired'. I think you feed off the energy of winning multiple games and you can really get a snowball effect.

"I'm not even thinking about all the titles we need to win, I'm literally just thinking about Arsenal on Friday. The Champions League [quarter-final tie against Ajax] comes after that."
