Cowie steps in to replace Adams at Ross County

Don Cowie has served under the last two Ross County managers

Ross County have made Don Cowie their interim manager in the wake of Derek Adams' resignation.

County sit second bottom of the Premiership after nine games without a win in all competitions.

Cowie's first assignment is a league trip to Ibrox on 14 February, with a visit to Dundee to follow.

Adams' third stint as County boss spanned just 12 matches and ended with a 5-0 mauling at Motherwell on Tuesday.
