Ding Junhui made a 147 maximum break against Ronnie O'Sullivan in their first-round Masters match at Alexandra Palace.
Ding's sublime effort is his second 147 at the prestigious event but only the fourth ever.
Kirk Stevens, in 1984, and Marco Fu nine years ago are the only other players to have achieved the feat in this Triple Crown event.
It saw him trail O'Sullivan 4-3, having fought back from 4-0 down.
