    Middlesbrough won the EFL Cup in 2003-04 and are now just potentially 90 minutes away from reaching the final after last night's 1-0 win against Chelsea at the Riverside.

    Hayden Hackney was the hero for Michael Carrick's side.

    How is everyone doing today?

    Chelsea's hopes of reaching the EFL Cup final took a dent last night, losing 1-0 against Championship side Middlesbrough in the first leg of their semi-final tie.

    It was at the Riverside so Chelsea have the opportunity to try to turn things around back at Stamford Bridge on 23 January.

    The other semi-final takes place tonight with Liverpool hosting Fulham at 20:00 GMT in an all-Premier League affair. 'We'll bring you build-up to that clash.

    There's also plenty to get stuck into with the January transfer window, with deals being completed and no shortage of rumours to bring you.
