Steve Cooper was England under-17 manager when they won the World Cup in 2017Nottingham Forest have confirmed manager Steve Cooper has been sacked.
After losing five of their past six games, Forest decided to act, telling Cooper of the decision on Tuesday.
"Everyone at Nottingham Forest would like to thank Steve for his superb contribution to our football club," said Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.
"His achievement in guiding Forest back to the Premier League will undoubtedly remain an iconic moment in the club's history."
