Gloucester announce the signing of Welsh fly-half Gareth Anscombe.Gloucester have announced the signing of Welsh fly-half Gareth Anscombe for the 2024/25 Premiership campaign.
The 32-year-old - who has 35 international caps to his name - started his career in New Zealand where he was born before moving to Wales in 2014.
"We're really pleased to bring in a player of his experience," director of rugby George Skivington said.
"He's a top fly half and we feel he'll complement our group well."
His club career began at the Cardiff Blues where a year later he made his debut for Wales through his Welsh mother.
During his time with Cardiff and with Wales, Anscombe has formed an impressive partnership with scrum-half, Tomos Williams, who will link up with him once again, having also committed to the Cherry and Whites for next season.
The fly-half can also cover at full-back, as he has done many times previously for both club and country.
He'll join up with the squad in the summer, ahead of the 2024/25 Gallagher Premiership season.
