Larne beat Ballymena United 1-0 to move three points clear at the top of the Premiership table as Cliftonville defeated Glenavon 4-2 to move second.

Lee Bonis was the matchwinner for Larne while a double from Joe Gormley helped the north Belfast Reds take victory.

Daire O'Connor scored a hat-trick as Glentoran saw off Newry City 8-2 in a one-sided encounter at the Oval.

Crusaders were 1-0 winners over Loughgall, while Carrick Rangers edged out Dungannon Swifts 2-1.
