Italy won the 2023 Davis Cup, their first title in 47 years
Manchester is one of four cities that will host the group stage of the 2024 Davis Cup Finals from 10-15 September.
The event will take place at the AO Arena as well as in Bologna in Italy, Valencia in Spain and Zhuhai in China.
Great Britain pulled off a thrilling group-stage win over France in Manchester last year as Dan Evans and Neal Skupski saved four match points before winning the deciding tie.
GB were knocked out in the quarter-finals by Serbia.

The draw for the group stage, which features 16 nations - including Britain and defending champions Italy - takes place in London on Tuesday.
Nations split into four groups of four, with each country playing three times over six days.
The top two from each group will advance to the quarter-finals in Malaga from 19-24 November.
