Rare California poppy superbloom thrills crowds

Visitors have converged on Lancaster, California, to see the first such superbloom in four years.

But to the dismay of officials, the poppies have not blossomed in the state park poppy reserve.

The superbloom follows a record amount of rain throughout southern California this year.
