'Rooney rage'
Today's back pages

The Daily Mail
Again, it's Luke Littler front and centre in the Mail with Wayne Rooney getting some coverage too.
Rooney lasted just 83 days at Birmingham, overseeing 15 matches.
Birmingham sat sixth when he controversially replaced John Eustace and they are currently 20th with just a six-point gap to the relegation zone.
Despite winning just two games, Rooney was critical of the decision to show him the door and feels he could have turned things around with more time.

'Roo gets the chop'
Today's back pages

The Daily Express
We start with the Express and, as is the case with most of today's back pages, teenage darts sensation Luke Littler is the lead story after he continued his dream run at the PDC World Championship last night.
Littler, 16, beat Rob Cross to book his spot in tonight's final and his incredible run has led to questions around how great his achievement is.
Some have even drawn comparisons to Wayne Rooney who burst on to the scene in the Premier League with Everton, also aged 16, to score a wondergoal against Arsenal.
And, Rooney features alongside Littler but not for the right reasons following Birmingham's decision to sack to ex-England international yesterday.
Unsurprisingly, there's not a huge focus on last night's goalless affair between West Ham and Brighton in the Premier League.

Post update
Before we take a look at last night's action from the Premier League, let's see what the talk is about on the back pages of today's newspapers.
Good morning!
The festive period is now officially done and dusted, I think that means it is time to take down the tree... if you haven't already.
West Ham and Brighton brought an end to a jam-packed schedule of Premier League football last night, settling for a share of the points at London Stadium following a goalless draw.
Not one that will live long in the memory but that might be down to the sheer amount of games played over the last three weeks.
Anyway, onwards and upwards with the FA Cup third round now in our sights as Crystal Palace host Everton tomorrow.
And we are into day three of the January transfer window.
It has been a slow burner so far but there are plenty of rumours swirling around so we'll keep you across all the latest.
Let's go!
